Lyle Stutzman wanted to be a conductor for almost as long as he can remember, and he got hooked on choirs at a young age. He graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and now teaches music at Mt. Olive School in Montgomery, Indiana. He also gives private voice and piano lessons; arranges, composes, and sells choral music (www.blueskymusic.net); and works from his home office. He is the guest conductor for Tapestry Chamber Singers and Laudate Mennonite Ensemble. He enjoys reading to his children, playing games, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Lyle and Maria live in Washington, Indiana, with their six children: Scott, Ivana, Megan, Levi, Selah, and Kendrick.
