West Jefferson, OH
Lloyd has been a music instructor at Sarasota Christian School (Florida), Rosedale Bible Institute (Ohio) and Daystar University (Nairobi, Kenya). He holds a BA in Music Education (Eastern Mennonite College, 1971), and an MA in Music Education with a choral-conducting and vocal concentration (Ohio State University, 1987). He directed the Rosedale Chorale and other school/community choirs during his teaching years, and continues periodic musical activities ranging from weekend events to overseas choral tours. He is self-employed as a painter, handyman, commercial driver, choral / vocal resource person, and choral arranger/composer. He enjoys listening to music from a variety of historic and cultural genres, along with aviation, motorcycling, mechanical tinkering, travel, and more. He is married to Mary (Slabaugh), formerly from Hartville, OH.
Wendell grew up on the plains of Kansas in a singing family and in a singing church. His first formal musical training was at Wichita State University, where he completed a Bachelor of Music Education degree. After teaching and conducting for a number years, he moved to Harrisonburg, Virginia to complete a Masters in Choral Conducting at James Madison University. He still lives in Virginia with his wife, Jeanene, who is a key asset in his musical and teaching career. She is an invaluable team member as they work together to juggle the various duties of teaching and conducting.
Regina Brubaker graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education (2015). She enjoys ensemble performances as a singer, conductor, and accompanist. She is a current member of Oasis Chorale and has conducted a children’s choir for Valley Arts Society for their past four seasons. She teaches private lessons from her home studio and general music for K-Gr. 8 at Calvary Christian Academy and serves as Academic Dean for Shenandoah Christian Music Camp. Regina enjoys recreation in the garden, dabbling with colors, messing with textures, encountering God through His Word and creation, and bringing order to chaos.
